Golden Jubilee Message (1976)

“From a very small beginning for a limited purpose, the Anand Press has grown to be one of the major undertakings of the Society of Jesus in Gujarat, rendering greatly appreciated service far beyond the confines of the State. The copy I have before me of the decrees of our 32nd General Congregation, speaks volumes for the quality and finesse of the work done by Anand Press.

The Jesuit team and their co-workers are to be commended highly for their sense of dedication, spirit of service and great cordiality in dealing with all. The school for apprentices of the Graphic Arts underlines the concern of the Management and staff to help open up opportunities for more and more young men.”

Awards

The State and national awards Anand Press has earned in the course of the last few years (1976) is commendable, it has bagged 3 first, 2 second and 3 third prized "for excellence in printing and designing".

Two (one national and one State) are by the Directorate of Advertising and Visual Publicity, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, New Delhi; four were awarded at the All-India Printers"' Conference, 1972; three at the Gujarat Mudrak Parishad Exhibition held in June 1976.
